Designed for the 1980 - 1996 Ford F/U Series Dual Position 6"x9" mirrors, these stiffener plates replace the rivet-nuts in the outer door skin and address all associated issues. These are bonded to the inside of the door skin with panel bonding adhesive. Constructed from laser-cut 16ga steel and TIG welded with flange nuts welded to the back, they provide durable reinforcement. This robust design prevents the door from distorting when the bolts are tightened, ensuring a secure and lasting fit. Pair these with our replacement mirror gaskets to get the job done right!
