MakerSpace at Gannon’s Fall 2026 Open House
Gannon University welcomed prospective students, families, and community members to campus during its Fall 2026 Open House, giving visitors an opportunity to explore the creativity, technology, and hands-on work happening inside the Gannon MakerSpace.
Throughout the event, guests toured the MakerSpace and learned more about the equipment and services available, including 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, CNC machining, prototyping, fabrication, and custom manufacturing. Visitors were able to see examples of completed projects and learn how ideas can move from an initial concept to a finished product.
The MakerSpace team also shared how the space supports more than student projects. Through community partnerships, the MakerSpace works with local businesses, nonprofits, organizations, and entrepreneurs on custom projects, product development, and both small- and large-scale production.
Events like Fall Open House provide an opportunity to connect Gannon with the greater Erie community while showing how the MakerSpace can serve as a resource for innovation, manufacturing, and creative problem-solving.
