The Gannon University MakerSpace partnered with UPMC to provide its technicians with a very helpful and essential training class. The CPR training offered participants a hands-on experience in vital first-aid skills necessary to save lives in emergency situations.
MakerSpace students learned the skills to save a life by giving chest compressions, rescue breath, and use an AED. By learning these CPR techniques, students acquired the confidence and knowledge to respond quickly and act effectively in emergency situations.
Alex, a Mechanical Engineering graduate student at Gannon University, shared her honest review about the class: "It was really useful and I know I'll be able to save lives. It's really good to have that experience."
At Gannon University's MakerSpace, each and every student is welcome to realize their creative ideas in a safe environment we provide. The MakerSpace guarantees that every student can explore and create with confidence by training our technicians to know that they are prepared to address any situation.
