Custom Laser Engraved Award

Recently, MakerSpace collaborated with Gannon’s Telugu Student Union to create a custom laser engraved glass award.

The Golden Gamer Award was created to honor the best team that won the most games during organization’s event, Ugadi Utsavam 2025. Culturally hosted by the Telugu Student Union, this event marks the beginning of the Telugu New Year and is filled with music, games, and many other fun activities. This year, the award added an exciting edge to the celebration and brought together people from different backgrounds, showing how gaming can be both entertaining and culturally engaging.

MakerSpace teamed up with Telugu Union to bring the vision of the Golden Gamer Award to life through a customized laser cut off using a CO2 laser cutter. The award was then cleaned and put in a 3D-printed base for easy display. “We shared our design idea, and they delivered it with impressive quality and detail. Their craftsmanship and creativity really brought the award to another level. Huge thanks to MakerSpace for making this possible and helping us create something special for our event!” - said Mrudhula Malipeddi, Telugu Union President.
