At the Gannon MakerSpace, we recently took on a project we are especially proud of. A full-size Liberty Bell, 3D printed right here in our lab. The bell was created to celebrate America 250, and it came together in six separate printed pieces, plus two more parts for the yoke that holds it up. This holiday season, Gannon’s MakerSpace celebrated creativity through community partnerships and student involvement. We collaborated with Port Farms on custom ornaments, hosted a student ornament design contest with a winning design produced, and built a festive wooden Christmas tree to display ornaments, adding holiday spirit to the space and highlighting innovation and campus creativity.
