Updated: Feb 19

On February 17, 2025, the Gannon University's MakerSpace team proudly participated in the 10th Annual STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Fair at Penn State Behrend's Junker Center. The event attracted an estimated 1,400 attendees, offering a wide range of hands-on activity stations and interactive exhibits.

Our team showcased additive manufacturing techniques through 3D printing demonstrations, allowing attendees to witness the transformation of digital designs into physical objects. Additionally, we provided an immersive experience with our drone simulators, encouraging participants to explore the drone technology in a virtual setting. Young students and their families were able to explore the fun world of STEAM and view science in action.

As an exhibitor at this year’s STEAM Fair, Gannon’s MakerSpace was honored to be part of such an impactful community event. We take great pride in sharing our knowledge and passion for innovation with students and families, helping to spark curiosity and inspire to create. Events like this highlight the importance of hands-on learning and collaboration, and we are excited to continue bringing these experiences to our community.
