During the annual Student Leadership and Service Award Ceremony, the Collaboration Award was proudly presented to the Activities Programming Board (APB) and Gannon University’s MakerSpace. This honor celebrated our continued partnership and creative efforts to engage students through hands-on and meaningful events throughout the academic year.

One of the most memorable moments of this collaboration was the popular DIY Keychain Workshop. During this event, students had the opportunity to design and create custom keychains using MakerSpace’s professional laser cutting equipment. With the help of MakerSpace technicians, APB members brought their vision to life and introduced many students to the exciting world of digital design and fabrication in a fun and welcoming environment.

This award highlights the vital role MakerSpace plays not only as a resource for engineering and technical students, but as a creative hub for the entire campus. Through partnerships like this, MakerSpace continues to support student organizations, foster collaboration, and bring ideas into reality with equipment, expertise, and community support!
