Updated: Mar 4

The MakerSpace was featured in November's edition of the MBA's Business Magazine, showcasing how it is inspiring new opportunities for collaboration and manufacturing innovation.

The article highlights the importance of having a MakerSpace available for students, faculty, the community, and business partnerships. Designed with an open-lab concept that encourages hands-on learning, the MakerSpace provides unique opportunities for students across various majors to bring ideas to life and foster innovation. MakerSpace technicians have had the opportunity to work on projects for companies, demonstrating their engineering skills and providing practical solutions.

Brad Gleason, the Director of Entrepreneurial Operations, has played a key role in connecting the MakerSpace with a wide range of companies through the NWPA Pennsylvania Beehive and the Erie Technology Incubator. This is just a glimpse into the ongoing success of the MakerSpace as it continues to grow, collaborate, and seek out new projects.
