The MakerSpace proudly participated in Manufacturing Day 2025, hosted by the Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA), where we joined over 2,000 high school students and numerous industry leaders from across Erie County.
Our team showcased a variety of advanced technologies, including a 3D-printed engine prototype, a wheel barrel car, the F1 fiber laser, a Markforged 3D printer, the Prusa XL, and our 3D print farm. These demonstrations highlighted how the MakerSpace turns creative concepts into real products through innovation and hands-on design.
To make the experience even more exciting, we hosted a giveaway for students. One lucky participant won a Bambu 3D printer with filament, and three others received exclusive MakerSpace apparel. The giveaways added a fun and memorable element to the day while encouraging students to explore the world of design and manufacturing. Throughout the event, we also connected with local manufacturers and business leaders, sharing how our space supports collaboration, rapid prototyping, and idea development.
Manufacturing Day highlighted the strong sense of community and innovation. The MakerSpace remains committed to helping to bring ideas to life and strengthening the creative and industrial future.
