On February 23, 2026, the Gannon University MakerSpace team proudly participated in the Annual STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Fair held at the Junker Center at Penn State Behrend. The event welcomed families, students, and community members for an evening of hands-on learning, creativity, and exploration.

This year, MakerSpace once again created an engaging and interactive environment where attendees could experience innovation in action. Our team demonstrated additive manufacturing through live 3D printing, allowing visitors to see how digital designs are transformed into real objects. Participants also had the opportunity to explore drone technology through immersive simulators, giving them a hands-on introduction to emerging technologies in a fun and accessible way.

This year’s fair featured exciting STEAM Bingo, which encouraged children to visit each exhibit and engage directly with presenters. At the MakerSpace table, we enjoyed connecting with young learners as they completed their Bingo cards, asked questions, and explored new ideas.

As an exhibitor, Gannon University’s MakerSpace is honored to contribute to an event that inspires curiosity, creativity, and innovation. We are proud to share our passion for making and technology with the next generation, and we look forward to continuing our involvement in community events that encourage students to explore, create, and imagine their future in STEAM fields.
