MakerSpace was happy to host Girl Scout Troop #46822 on April 18th at the Gannon University Institute for Health and Cyber Knowledge, in collaboration with Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania and the Gannon University Society of Women Engineers. The visit brought together a group of young students for an engaging and interactive introduction to engineering and innovation.

Throughout the event, the scouts participated in hands on activities and explored the Gannon MakerSpace facilities, gaining a firsthand look at the tools and technologies used to bring ideas to life. From creating to experimenting, the experience was designed to highlight the creative and exciting side of engineering while encouraging curiosity and exploration.

This visit reflects how MakerSpace supports the community by opening its doors to organizations that inspire the next generation. By providing access to advanced equipment and a collaborative environment, MakerSpace helps students connect creativity with real world applications and discover new possibilities in STEM.

At MakerSpace, we are committed to creating opportunities for learning that go beyond the classroom. Whether working with university students, collaborating with businesses, or hosting community groups, we aim to make innovation accessible, engaging, and meaningful for everyone who walks through our doors.

We are grateful to Girl Scout Troop #46822 for visiting and look forward to continuing to inspire creativity and confidence in future innovators.
