MakerSpace was happy to host Troop 59 from Our Lady of Peace on April 13th, welcoming around 20 scouts from middle to high school for an engaging hands on experience. The group explored both laser engraving and 3D printing by creating personalized keychains with their names and designing custom neckerchief slides featuring their own logos and images.

This visit highlights how MakerSpace supports the local community by providing access to innovative tools, creative learning environments, and real world skills. By working directly with equipment and turning their ideas into physical objects, the scouts experienced the kind of creativity and problem solving that defines modern making.

At MakerSpace, we are committed to being more than just a lab. We are a space where students, organizations, and community groups can come together to learn, experiment, and create. Whether introducing young students to emerging technologies or supporting advanced prototyping, we take pride in making innovation accessible and exciting for everyone.

We are grateful to Troop 59 for visiting and look forward to continuing to inspire creativity and curiosity across our community.
